Director General of Legal Affairs and Tax Treaties of the Iranian National Tax Administration (INTA) announced that the Law on the Agreement between the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Government of the Republic of India for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income Law had been officially served.
Hossein Tajmir Riahi stated: "The Agreement between the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Government of the Republic of India for The Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income has been approved by the Guardian Council and has been served by the President of the I.R. Iran to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance to be implemented."
