ATAIC 14th Annual Technical Conference

In view of the recommendations of ATAIC PS, time limit for registration for the Conference was extended until November 30, 2017

Dear member states and other participants,

As you are already informed, the 14th ATAIC Technical Conference is to be held here in Tehran, I.R.Iran. It is a great honor and pleasure for us to welcome you to this conference. Formal correspondence with the following countries have already been done through permanent secretariat of ATAIC:

Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Gambia, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Maldives, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen

Topics for working Papers

The following topics will be discussed during the conference:

  1. Developments in the Tax System and Moving towards a Desirable Tax System

  2. Taxation of Digital Economy and Services

Member States representatives and other participants are kindly requested to prepare their working papers for presentation of 20 minutes followed by a maximum of 10 minutes for discussion Each working paper should have an abstract (of some 150 words) followed by a number of 5 to 7 keywords and should follow a reasonable scientific format including "introduction", "discussion" and "conclusion" sections

Working papers are highly recommended to be prepared as PowerPoint files according to the Presentation Template. Presentations shall primarily be made in English but working papers in Arabic or French will also be warmly welcome

The event is going to be held from 9 to 13 December, 2017 in Tehran. The timetable is available for download.
